Who am I?

My name is Inês, I’m 27 years old and I am a brand identity designer from Viseu, Portugal.

I am defined by my passion for creation, constant generation of ideas, design, and the pursuit of uniqueness. Creating fascinates and excites me, leaving me eager to savor every moment. Above all, it surprises me because every time I pick up a pen and paper, the abstract becomes tangible, and the invisible takes on an identity that is now visible to our gaze.

I believe that communicating through shapes, colors, languages, lines, and letters is a powerful and beautiful way to convey a message. Our eyes capture intention and concepts that can provoke emotions and change our perceptions. I feel fortunate to bring brands to life with purpose and history.

360º Capture

This stage is crucial as all the information gathered here will serve as a guide for developing the brand’s visual identity. Information is typically collected through an online form or a meeting.

The goal is to gather all relevant information about the brand. This knowledge will help me build a solid foundation and move forward confidently with the project. It will also allow me to truly understand the essence of the brand.

Presentation

This is the moment of truth when the final outcome is revealed. During the presentation, I showcase the complete creative process, provide reasoning behind all decisions made, and present the brand identity. I introduce the brand and its behavior and positioning in the real world.

Research

After completing the previous stage, the next step is to conduct thorough research and analysis of the competition, the brand’s segment, the target audience, and all relevant factors. Synthesize the information gathered to identify opportunities for innovation and brand differentiation.


After presenting the brand strategy, I will work with you to define the visual direction of the project through a process called moodboarding.

Finalization

Once the presentation is approved, all files related to the brand’s visual identity that were agreed upon at the start of the project are finalized and delivered.

This is followed by the standards manual, which contains all the essential information for the correct use of the brand in different media.

Design

It is time to develop and refine the established strategies into various ideas and concepts. These will be explored and worked on through numerous drafts.

Based on the brand strategy and foundation, I select the best ideas and validate the one that effectively meets the project’s expectations. I refine the concept and its entire visual universe until I arrive at the best solution.
