Looking at the opportunities in the market, the UNIMUA brand doesn’t only want to sell the brands that already exist in the sector, but it also wants to go further and be able to offer products from international brands that are not produced in Portugal, thus gaining a stronger and more established position in the market.

About the project

UNIMUA’s identity project was inspired by its purpose and mission. The brand seeks to empower the belief that make-up is an art, where like any artist, each person can express what they are, what they feel and what they represent. It aims to show, inspire and prove that make-up is also and essentially a form of personal expression, a means of celebrating the authenticity, creativity and uniqueness of each individual.

This message is strongly present in UNIMUA’s visual identity, from the logo to the visual elements, making it distinctive and unique in the market. The color palette reflects the confidence, elegance and exclusivity that characterize the brand, as well as the patterns created, which convey the essence and luxury of UNIMUA.

The UNIMUA brand logo reflects its purpose, which can be summed up in one word: IDENTITY. As a luxury brand, the use of capital letters was essential. And to make the logo more exclusive and in line with the concept, it was necessary to personalize the chosen typography, especially the letter “M”, which ultimately becomes the “voice” of the brand.

The concept was inspired by the lines on the palms of the hands that form a universal “M”. Universal but different, because each “M” is made up of unique and distinct lines that distinguish one person from another.

In parallel with the UNIMUA brand, through its products it seeks to empower people to express their true essence and highlight their authenticity, because although everyone is human, what distinguishes them from each other are their differences, because that is what makes them unique, special and singular.

In addition, the association with the hands highlights the importance of the lines of the palms in the human capacity to express, move and create, especially in the context of make-up.
